The library users are advised to start searching the library holdings through the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). They are advised to consult the manual catalogue when they fail to get the information they are looking for because the library is yet to complete conversion of manual database to electronic database.
For books, the search gives information on the title of the book, author, publication statement, and the section of the library where the item is. Other information include the class mark, availability status and whether the item can be borrowed or not. For Journals, the OPAC shows the title, location, class mark, issues that were received and the missing ones.
