All Postgraduate and Undergraduate students are encouraged to attend this course

(i) Using Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC): Simple and advanced search techniques.

(ii) Internet for learning and research: Internet search engines and Information Gateways

(iii) Electronic Resources and Services.

(iv) Evaluating and Citing Electronic Information

(v)UDSM Virtual Library: resources and services

(vi) UDSM Library Website as a Communication Tool

  Courses will be conducted as follows:

Monday to Friday:     9.00am - 12.00 noon

                                 2.00pm - 5.00pm

Saturdays on request from Faculty members:

                                 9.00am - 12.00 noon


Please register for respective sessions at the check point of the Reference and Document Delivery Section, Second Floor UDSM Main Library
